9 day Luxury Waterways of Africa Tour

Places you will visit: This Africa travel package includes: Chobe Chilwero, Chobe National Park - Botswana, Baines Camp, Okavango Delta - Botswana, Ilala Lodge, Victoria Falls - Zimbabwe.

Suitability: If you want to enjoy a Botswana safari and the beauty of Victoria Falls in luxury, then this package tour is for you. Note: This Africa travel package is based on - arrival and departure from Victoria Falls Airport or Livingstone Airport.

Days 1 - 3: Chobe Chilwero Lodge, Chobe National Park, Botswana

There will be a meet and greet at Victoria Falls or Livingstone Airport, followed by a road transfer from the airport to Chobe Chilwero Lodge on day one of your Africa travel package.

You will be transferred via Kazungula border post. The journey is approximately 70km from the Botswana border where you will have to complete immigration and customs procedures on both sides.

Please be aware that your road transfer between Victoria Falls / Zimbabwe or Zambia and Kasane is approximately 2 hours in duration and involves customs and immigration formalities at both the Zimbabwe/Zambia and Botswana border posts en route.

Your days are spent at leisure or engaged in the available activities on offer, including game drives in open-sided 4X4 vehicles and sundowner cruises on the Chobe River.

Accommodation: In 15 air-conditioned luxury cottages on an all inclusive basis. At Chobe Chilwero Lodge you enjoy world class accommodation, complete with en-suite facilities, a sunken bath, indoor and outdoor showers, lounge, terraced garden with hammock, gourmet cuisine and fine wines and a sparkling swimming pool.

Activities include game drives in open safari vehicles, sundowner cruises on the Chobe River, day trips to the Victoria Falls, walking tours, light aircraft flights and white water rafting.

Days 4 - 6: Baines Camp, Okavango Delta, Botswana

Today there is a scheduled road transfer from Kasane Airport to Chobe Game Lodge. There is a scheduled charter flight from Kwando Lebala to Kasane Airport.

Your days are spent at leisure or engaged in the available activities on offer, including motorised boat and mokoro (dug-out canoe) excursions (subject to water levels), day game drives in open 4X4 vehicles, night game drives, walking safaris with armed guides and Elephant interaction at an additional cost.

Accommodation: In 5 intimate, luxury elevated suites on an all inclusive basis.

Baines Camp offers intimate and comfortable accommodation with en-suite facilities and private game viewing decks. This world class accommodation boasts fully mobile four poster beds, delicious gourmet cuisine and vintage wines, on par with the best in the world.

Activities at Baines Camp include a swimming pool with 2 sala's, motorised boat and mokoro trips, day and night game drives in open safari vehicles, walking safaris with armed rangers and memorable Elephant interaction.

Days 7 & 8: Victoria Falls Hotel/Ilala Lodge/Royal Livingstone Hotel

On day 7 of your Africa travel package you have the option of staying at one of 3 world class accommodations - Victoria Falls Hotel, Illala Lodge or The Royal Livingstone Hotel.

There is a scheduled charter flight from Baines Camp to Kasane Airport, followed by a scheduled road transfer from Kasane Airport to the accommodation of your choice.

Accommodation: In an Executive room at Victoria Falls Hotel, in a deluxe suite at Ilala Lodge, or in a luxury suite at Royal Livingstone, all on a bed and breakfast basis.
